Itinerary & Road Map

Day 1: Arrival in Auckland

Arrive at Auckland Airport, where our representative will greet you and assist with your private transfer to the hotel.
After check-in, spend the rest of the day at leisure — take a walk to admire Auckland’s scenic charm or simply relax.

Day 2: Auckland – Hobbiton – Rotorua

After enjoying lunch, continue your journey to Rotorua, known for its geothermal wonders and Maori culture.

Day 3: Exploring Rotorua

Day 4: Rotorua – Christchurch (by Flight)

Check out and take a short domestic flight to Christchurch (approx. 2 hours, airfare not included).

Day 5: Christchurch – Glacier Region

Board the scenic TranzAlpine train, one of the world’s most spectacular rail journeys. Travel across Canterbury Plains, along the Waimakariri River, and through Arthur’s Pass National Park before meeting your driver-guide.

Continue by deluxe mini-van along the West Coast to the Glacier Region. Enjoy lunch and afternoon tea overlooking Ice Age landscapes and kettle lakes.

Day 6: Glacier Region – Queenstown

Take a short rainforest walk with glaciers as the backdrop. Travel through the Haast River Valley, Lake Wanaka, and the Otago region before arriving in Queenstown.
