Jordan Discovery — 5-Day Itinerary

Here's how your 4-night Jordan trip flows. Flights, hotels, all transfers and touring run on a private basis — so it's just your group, on your schedule, never a shared coach.

DAY1

Arrival in Amman Included

Land at Queen Alia International Airport, where our representative meets you and transfers you privately to your Amman hotel (approx. 45 minutes). Jordan is in the same time zone as the UAE minus one hour. Check in, then explore Rainbow Street's cafés and galleries, or relax after your flight. Overnight in Amman.

DAY2

Jerash & the Dead Sea Included

A morning excursion to Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman provincial cities in the world, with its colonnaded streets, hippodrome and the Temple of Artemis. Then drive down to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, to float effortlessly in its mineral-rich water and try the famous mineral mud. Overnight at a Dead Sea resort.

DAY3

Drive to Petra via Mount Nebo & Madaba Included

Drive south along the King's Highway, stopping at:

  • Mount Nebo — the site where Moses is said to have viewed the Promised Land, with sweeping views over the Jordan Valley.
  • Madaba — the "City of Mosaics," home to a Byzantine-era map of the Holy Land in St. George's Church.

Arrive in Petra by evening. Overnight in Petra.

DAY4

Petra & Wadi Rum Included

A full guided day through Petra, the rose-red city carved by the Nabataeans over 2,000 years ago — walk the narrow Siq gorge to the iconic Treasury (Al-Khazneh), then continue to the Royal Tombs and the Monastery for those who want to trek further. In the afternoon, drive to Wadi Rum, the "Valley of the Moon," for a 4x4 jeep tour through its towering red-sand canyons. Overnight at a Bedouin desert camp or Wadi Rum hotel.

DAY5

Departure from Amman

Watch the sunrise over the desert before a private transfer back to Amman (approx. 4 hours), with time for last-minute shopping — olive oil soap, Dead Sea cosmetics and Bedouin silverware are local favourites. Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Best Time to Visit Jordan

Jordan has a desert climate with hot summers and mild winters, so the shoulder seasons offer the most comfortable sightseeing — especially for a full day walking around Petra.

SeasonMonthsWeatherWhy go
SpringMar – MayWarm days 20–28°C, cool nightsBest overall — comfortable for Petra & Wadi Rum, wildflowers in bloom
SummerJun – AugVery hot 32–38°C, desert regions hotterDead Sea floating still great; plan desert visits for early morning
AutumnSep – NovWarm days 22–30°C, mild nightsSecond-best window — clear skies, comfortable hiking
WinterDec – FebCool 8–16°C, occasional rain, cold nights in Petra/Wadi RumFewer crowds and lower rates; pack warm layers for desert nights

Mar–May Best

Spring brings warm, comfortable days and cool evenings — ideal for a full day exploring Petra on foot and camping under clear desert skies in Wadi Rum.

Sep–Nov Best

Autumn mirrors spring's comfortable temperatures with clear skies, making it the other prime window for sightseeing across the country.

Dec–Feb Low season

Cooler and quieter, with the lowest hotel rates. Desert nights in Wadi Rum can drop close to freezing, so warm layers are essential.

Entry made easy

Jordan Visa for UAE Residents

Most nationalities, including UAE residents, can obtain a Jordan tourist visa on arrival at Queen Alia International Airport. If you're staying 3 or more nights and visiting Petra with a licensed guide, the Jordan Pass waives the visa fee entirely and bundles Petra entrance — a genuine saving we build into eligible packages.

🛂 Visa on arrival

Most nationalities can obtain a single-entry tourist visa on arrival at Jordanian airports and land borders.

🎟️ Jordan Pass savings

Stay 3+ nights and enter Petra with a licensed guide, and the visa fee is waived — the pass also covers Petra and dozens of other sites.

✈️ Flight time from UAE

Direct flights from Dubai, Sharjah or Abu Dhabi to Amman take around 3 hours. Jordan is 1 hour behind UAE time.

💱 Currency

The Jordanian Dinar (JOD) is the official currency; cards are widely accepted in hotels and cities.

🧳 We confirm your Jordan Pass eligibility and build the visa fee waiver into your quote where it applies. Passport valid 6+ months beyond travel is recommended.

Visa rules differ by nationality and can change. Entry is at the sole discretion of Jordanian immigration. We confirm current requirements for your passport before you travel.
