Here's how your 4-night Jordan trip flows. Flights, hotels, all transfers and touring run on a private basis — so it's just your group, on your schedule, never a shared coach.
Land at Queen Alia International Airport, where our representative meets you and transfers you privately to your Amman hotel (approx. 45 minutes). Jordan is in the same time zone as the UAE minus one hour. Check in, then explore Rainbow Street's cafés and galleries, or relax after your flight. Overnight in Amman.
A morning excursion to Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman provincial cities in the world, with its colonnaded streets, hippodrome and the Temple of Artemis. Then drive down to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, to float effortlessly in its mineral-rich water and try the famous mineral mud. Overnight at a Dead Sea resort.
Drive south along the King's Highway, stopping at:
Arrive in Petra by evening. Overnight in Petra.
A full guided day through Petra, the rose-red city carved by the Nabataeans over 2,000 years ago — walk the narrow Siq gorge to the iconic Treasury (Al-Khazneh), then continue to the Royal Tombs and the Monastery for those who want to trek further. In the afternoon, drive to Wadi Rum, the "Valley of the Moon," for a 4x4 jeep tour through its towering red-sand canyons. Overnight at a Bedouin desert camp or Wadi Rum hotel.
Watch the sunrise over the desert before a private transfer back to Amman (approx. 4 hours), with time for last-minute shopping — olive oil soap, Dead Sea cosmetics and Bedouin silverware are local favourites. Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
Jordan has a desert climate with hot summers and mild winters, so the shoulder seasons offer the most comfortable sightseeing — especially for a full day walking around Petra.
| Season | Months | Weather | Why go |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spring | Mar – May | Warm days 20–28°C, cool nights | Best overall — comfortable for Petra & Wadi Rum, wildflowers in bloom |
| Summer | Jun – Aug | Very hot 32–38°C, desert regions hotter | Dead Sea floating still great; plan desert visits for early morning |
| Autumn | Sep – Nov | Warm days 22–30°C, mild nights | Second-best window — clear skies, comfortable hiking |
| Winter | Dec – Feb | Cool 8–16°C, occasional rain, cold nights in Petra/Wadi Rum | Fewer crowds and lower rates; pack warm layers for desert nights |
Spring brings warm, comfortable days and cool evenings — ideal for a full day exploring Petra on foot and camping under clear desert skies in Wadi Rum.
Autumn mirrors spring's comfortable temperatures with clear skies, making it the other prime window for sightseeing across the country.
Cooler and quieter, with the lowest hotel rates. Desert nights in Wadi Rum can drop close to freezing, so warm layers are essential.
