Overnight in Lucerne
Breakfast at the hotel. Rail journey over the Brünig Pass to Interlaken by the Lucerne–Interlaken Express. On your journey you will pass three small lakes before reaching Lake Brienz with its distinctive glacial colour. Time at leisure for an optional excursion up to the Jungfraujoch Top of Europe.
Overnight in Interlaken
Breakfast at the hotel. Travel with the GoldenPass Express without changing trains to Montreux on the shore of Lake Geneva. Optionally you can also take regional trains from Interlaken to Zweisimmen and from there the GoldenPass Panoramic or Belle Époque to Montreux.
Travel through alpine forests, bubbling mountain springs and picturesque mountain villages. A visit to Chillon Castle is recommended.
Overnight in Montreux
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you take a regional train to Zermatt, the famous car-free Alpine resort at the foot of the majestic Matterhorn.
Time for an optional excursion by cogwheel railway to Gornergrat for panoramic views of the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc and other snow-capped peaks above 4000 m. Alternatively experience Matterhorn Glacier Paradise at 3883 m.
Overnight in Zermatt
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you board the Glacier Express for one of the greatest train journeys in the world.
The world's slowest express train takes you across bridges, through tunnels and across the Oberalp Pass at 2,033 m. Travel through pristine mountain forests, peaceful Alpine meadows, rushing mountain streams and traditional Alpine valleys.
